Dave and I and his dad went on a small road trip to Calgary on tuesday to see Baby Ava, and a Calgary Flames game. I bought Dave these tickets for the retirement of Mike Vernon's jersey way back in november or something silly like that, and it just happened to coinside with the birth of Dave and Jenn's little girl, and our niece! We are so pumped to be an Auntie and Uncle, because she is our first!! For years and years I have been wanting to give a baby a piggy bank. So finally I got a chance with Ava. When I was little I had this little bear bank that was wearing overalls and it was so cute and I believe that Grandma and Grandpa gave it to me and I absolutley love it to this day, so I wanted to pass along that joy to Ava and hopefully one day she will love the little bear we gave her and will think of us everytime she breaks in...um..I mean puts in some savings.... I would have posted earlier but I wanted the proud parents to post first..now its my turn! Isn't she cute?! Ava Kathleen Dolsky, 6 pounds 14 oz, and 19 inches long, born February 4th 2007!


To change the subject, the flames game was fun too. The ceremony for mike vernon was pretty cool but the game afterwards was poor and boring. Although, the highlight of the game was when the ref made a poor poor call and the entire stadium caught onto the simultaneous shouting of "Bullshit Bullshit". It was so worth it right there!



I may or may not have mentioned as well that Dave got his private pilot license...so here are some photos from us up in the air! I was his first passenger! I love the headsets. For some reason, microphones and headsets and the like...I love them, as long as Im not broadcast in a huge area I think they are the funnest things in the world. Sometimes in the summer if Im having a headset day I will tell DAve to take me out for a ride on his motorcycle so we can play with the headsets! Although once on a trip from Grande Prairie to Edmonton the headsets died after half an hour...so not as much fun afterwards!) Here's us!

This boy loves planes so much that he even had to take our photo on our flight to Quebec!



I've also been thinking about my old roomie Emily, so here is a shoutout to her and good times! Miss ya chickie!
