Last night Dave and I were enjoying a "French night" where we watched "A Good Year", spoke in french, had a steak dinner, and were planning on doing some more packing, then watching a French movie. And then we got a phone call.
Please keep the Strohhaecker family in your prayers. Armin Strohhaecker suddenly passed away yesterday morning. Armin was a friend of Dave's from Calvary, and they would get together in the summer to go for a motorcycle ride or two. Armin's wife Megan just got her own motorcycle license this past summer as well. I can't imagine the pain that their families are going through right now.
Dave and I were both struck with the realization that life is so precious, and if this amazing, friendly, and wonderful man could pass away suddenly at 30 years old, then it can happen to anyone.
So please keep Armin's wife Megan in your prayers, as well as his sister Monica, and the rest of their family as well. They are struggling with thoughts of a future without Armin. They are blessed however to know that Armin was a faithful man and he is now with God.
